Health & Welfare Benefits

Time sensitive! Enroll and provide dependent documentation within 31 days of hire.

Eligibility

If you are a full time employee of CMC, working 30 hours or more per week, you are eligible for benefits.

Dependent Eligibility

You may enroll eligible dependents for CMC benefits if you submit the required documentation by your enrollment deadline:

  • Spouse - Provide a marriage certificate, or in the absence of a marriage certificate, a current federal tax return showing joint filing status will be accepted
  • Child(ren) - Provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate showing the employee as a parent

For more information about other eligible dependents and the documentation required, click here.

Enrollment Deadline - Time Sensitive

Enroll for benefits and provide documentation for any eligible dependents you wish to cover within your enrollment period.

If you fail to complete your enrollment by the deadline, you will not have coverage in any benefits that require you to pay premiums. You will only receive benefits that are 100% paid by CMC.

Please Note: Your next opportunity to enroll is Open Enrollment in the Fall, unless you have a qualified status change (marriage/divorce, birth/adoption, etc.). If you have a qualified status change, you must make changes in the enrollment system within 31 days of the qualifying event.
